Adobe Podcast
Adobe Podcast, formerly known as Project Shasta, is a modern AI audio enhancement and recording platform built for creators. It removes the technical barriers to professional-quality audio by offering a clean interface and smart AI tools. It is designed specifically for podcasters, YouTubers, and voice-over artists who want high-quality audio without having to buy expensive mics or learn sound engineering.
The core feature is “Enhance Speech”, a one-click AI tool that dramatically improves poor-quality voice recordings by eliminating room echo, reducing background noise, and making voices sound like they were recorded in a studio. It also offers text-based audio editing, meaning you can edit audio by simply editing the transcript.
How it Works:
- Sign up for a free Adobe account and visit the Adobe Podcast website.
- Upload your audio recording (MP3 or WAV). You can also record directly using your device’s mic within the app.
- Use the “Enhance Speech” tool. Adobe uses a machine learning model trained on high-quality studio recordings. The model:
- Analyzes your voice tone and cleans unwanted reverb, echo, and background sounds.
- Boosts clarity and brings out the “presence” in your voice.
- Once processed, the enhanced version is downloadable as a clean audio file.
- Optionally, you can use Transcript Editor:
- Adobe’s AI transcribes the entire audio into text.
- You can delete or edit words from the transcript, and the corresponding audio is edited automatically.
- You can collaborate with others, share drafts, or export final versions for publishing.
Key Features:
- “Enhance Speech” button for instant studio sound
- Auto transcription
- Easy editing like text
- Cloud-based interface
